Cancer sucks

Cancer is a horrible, ugly disease that can strike anyone at any age. Too many of us have been directly affected by cancer and the only way to stop this disease is through research. We need to learn the hows and whys of preventing, treating, and curing cancer.

Pelotonia is in its 2nd year this year. The idea is simple enough. A bike ride where riders raise money that goes toward that research. 100% of the proceeds from Pelotonia go to cancer research. Every. Last. Penny. This is HUGE. Last year, Pelotonia raised millions. We're hoping for a repeat in 2010. To learn more about Pelotonia, please visit www.pelotonia.org

When signing up for the ride, each rider pledges to raise $1000.00 or $1500.00 depending on the length of the ride he/she participates in. This site is dedicated to raising money for my husband's Pelotonia ride. I've broken it down into different entries to make it as easy to navigate as possible.
